Q. How do I record a Loan or Trade to another Consultant? Inter-Consultant transactions (such as loans and trades) are recorded exactly like sales to Consultants, except that certain questions are omitted (like is this person your Hostess?) Most importantly, to record an Inter-Consultant transaction, you must first have the other Consultant in your records and she must be in the Mary Kay category. Her sub-category can be anything, but the category must be Mary Kay. Once that is done, when you "Record a Sale" to that person, the types of "sale" default to the Inter-Consultant transaction types (loans, trades, etc.) and the program takes it from there. Again, the remaining procedures are identical to recroding a sale for any other person in your records. The fact that the person
is recorded as a Mary Kay category is what triggers the difference in how
it is treated.
