Q. What happens when the Consultant Order Sheet (COS) changes? The update program for the Director and Consultant Management System is a self-serve process. The first thirteen months of updates are free. Following that, subscriptions for further periods of thirteen months are available for $25 (US) or ($35 + gst for Canadians). You must be a registered user of the program (ie. you bought your copy of the program from me) or using the Demo Program for evaluation purposes. I am constantly working to improve the program. As improvements and bug fixes are developed, I update the web site with the newest tested version. Version numbers are updated using standard guidelines and rise in value. When you visit this website, the User Support Section has a table which lists the current version and Consultant Order Sheets (COS) available for download. If the newset version is newer than the version you are using, by all means, you should download and install it. About five to seven times a year, the Company brings out a new COS. I use those occasions to bring out the significant changes to the program. On those occasions, I email everyone I know who would be interested in getting the new COS. For instance, when the Canadian Order Sheet changes, I upload the new COS and the latest version of the program and I inform all my Canadian users that the update is ready for download by them. Then when the American COS changes, I similarly inform all my users in the US. And likewise for the British, Australians and New Zealanders. It seems that there's always one country or another changing its COS, so the updates are constantly evolving. In the email messages, I also try to indicate what has changed in the new version. Finally,
if I discover a bug in an update, I fix it, upload the correction and email
the affected users, informing them of the problem and how they can fix
it or instructing them to download the update again
