Q. Does the DCMS work on a Mac, or is there a Mac version? The DCMS is a Windows program, and therefore does not work on the regular Macintosh OS. I have no plans to convert the program in the near future. Basically, I don't know enough about the Macintosh to feel comfortable supporting the program on that computer. However, the Macintosh does have the capability of "emulating" Microsoft Windows by using a program called "Soft PC". When running Soft PC, your Macintosh will have a window on the screen that is, for all intents and purposes, Windows 95 or better. Any program running in that window will act and interact as if it were running on an IBM compatible with Windows installed. If your Macintosh has Soft PC installed, then you will be able to run the DCMS. Now, as to which Macs can
run Soft PC and how do you purchase, install and run it - I have just dropped
off the edge of my knowledge base. Safe to say, however that the store
where you bought and/or support your Mac will know those details.
