Unit Record Keeping                                                           Back

This screen shows a Personal Information Screen of a Consultant in the Names Database Management facility. This screen holds the information which is common to all names in your records. For instance, name, address, phone numbers and personal information are displayed along the left column. You are able to create up to 10 lists to help organize your Consultant database Note that these lists are different than in the screen shot of the Customer record in the Consultant Features. In fact, you can assign 10 lists for each of the seven categories or records (Mary Kay, Customer, Personal, Household, Other, Prospective Customer and Pros. Recruit).

The Notes field allows you to record up to 20 type-written pages of free form data. In the DCMS, the Notes field is prominently displayed on the screen. In the interest of security, you can pull the Notes field down over the credit card numbers by un-clicking the "Show Credit Cards" check box in the Navigation column. Note that the DCMS also indicates that a card is expired, by displaying it in red.

The star beside the consultant's name indicates which star she earned so far this quarter. Above the star is the value of her wholesale production so far this quarter.

There is a lot of flexibility in how you display the information. You can sort the display of names in five ways; you can restrict the view of records to only selected names. Using this capability, you can, for instance, restrict the view to Prospective Recruits, and display them one by one - calling each to invite them to next week's guest night. Or you can zero in on Consultants who live in a remote location, like a city in another state, so you can call them all before traveling there. There is just so much information, you'll never be out of touch!

To get more professional information about the consultant, click on the "4 Consultant" button and you will be switched to the screen below, which details the consultant's last four quarters' production and the stars earned in them. Note below the production blocks there is a text explanation of what she needs to do for the next step in her climb up the Ladder of Success!

Again, with information like this at your fingertips, how can you not lead your unit to success?
