"My goal has always remained the

When she started her Mary Kay business
25 years ago, Donna's goal was to earn an extra $50 a week. After all,
she was busy raising a family, teaching kindergarten and working as a rodeo
judge. She didn't even wear makeup! Donna did question how she was going
to sell the product, but the thought of earning extra money was a powerful
motivator. With her husband, Leslie's, support she began travelling the
path to success.
And
the woman who started small finished big. As she joined the elite Independent
National Sales Director sisterhood, Donna is grateful she listened to her
heart and pursued her dream. For Donna, it's all about her personal life
lesson – facing her fears, surrounding herself with positive people and
visualizing success. And it works. After all, how many people can say they
still love their careers after 25 years?
Now, Donna wants to share those lessons
with her National Area. She says, "My goal has always remained the same
– to help people start dreaming again."
Donna
and I were Directors together in Anne Newbury's area in the 1980's. We
became friends while attending Anne's Retreats, workshops, and Seminar
events. Being from the Maritimes, we had a natural bond.
I am
so happy that Donna has joined us for our celebration, since our friendship
spans the entire twenty years that our Area has existed. Donna knows this
business and is a wonderful teacher. If you are offered to attend a class
taught by Donna, you will learn much. |
